1. Changing Your Mind (14-Day Right to Cancel)You have the legal right to cancel your order and return your book(s) for any reason, even if you have simply changed your mind.
- The Cancellation Window: You must notify us that you wish to cancel your purchase within 14 days from the day you (or a third party specified by you) receive your book(s).
- How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us by email at info@wordguerrilla.com with your order number and the title of the book(s) you wish to return.
- Returning the Book: Once you have notified us, you must mail the book(s) back to us within 14 days.
2. Condition of Returned BooksTo receive a full refund, books must be returned in their original, resalable condition.
- You are welcome to inspect the book as you would in a physical bookshop.
- However, if the book is returned with significant signs of use (such as a broken spine, creased pages, or marks), we reserve the right to deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the loss in the book's value.
3. Return Shipping Costs
- Who Pays? You are responsible for paying the cost of returning the book(s) to us, unless the item is faulty or incorrect. We highly recommend using a tracked postal service, as we cannot issue a refund if the return package is lost in transit.
- Original Delivery Costs: When we refund your order, we will also refund our standard outward delivery cost. If you chose an express delivery option at checkout, we will only refund the value of our standard delivery option.
4. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect BooksUnder the Consumer Rights Act 2015, books must match their description, be fit for purpose, and be of satisfactory quality.
- If your book arrives damaged (e.g., torn pages or severe water damage) or is structurally faulty (e.g., misprinted or missing pages), you have a 30-day right to a full refund, including any return postage costs.
- Alternatively, you can request a replacement book. Please email us at info@wordguerrilla.com with a photo of the damage, and we will sort this out for you immediately.
5.
